By accessing or using the FarmWithYielda platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including investors, farmers, suppliers, and cooperatives.
To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
Investors use the Platform to fund farming projects. By investing, you acknowledge that all investments carry risk, including the potential loss of capital. Returns are not guaranteed and depend on actual farm performance. FarmWithYielda does not provide financial advice.
Farmers list their projects for funding. By listing a project, you represent that all information provided is accurate and that you have the capacity and intent to execute the project as described. You agree to provide regular updates and operate transparently.
Suppliers and cooperatives participate in the ecosystem by providing goods, services, or organizing collective farming efforts. You agree to fulfil any commitments made through the Platform honestly and in good faith.
Investments are made in "slots" as defined by each project listing. Once an investment is confirmed and payment is processed, it is generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the specific project terms. Profit sharing is based on the model outlined in each project's listing. FarmWithYielda facilitates the connection between investors and farmers but does not guarantee the success of any farming project.
All payments are processed through our third-party payment provider (Paystack). By making a payment, you agree to the payment provider's terms of service. FarmWithYielda may charge service fees, which will be clearly disclosed before any transaction. All monetary values on the Platform are in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.
We may require identity verification (Know Your Customer) for certain transactions or account types. You agree to cooperate with these verification processes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail to complete required verification or that provide false information.
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; provide false or misleading information; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts; use automated systems or bots to access the Platform; manipulate or interfere with the Platform's operations; engage in any form of fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing; or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of FarmWithYielda or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. FarmWithYielda does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FarmWithYielda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any investment made through it.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
